Class Descriptions: I teach Anusara Yoga, founded in 1997 by my primary teacher, John Friend. Anusara Yoga is 'user-friendly' and builds a clear understanding of optimal body alignment while encouraging an open-hearted approach to life and living. Anusara Yoga is one of the fastest growing styles of hatha yoga in the nation.
Level 1 classes are geared towards beginners and continuing students interested in learning and refining the practice of Anusara Yoga. While learning lots of physical postures, breathing techniques, meditation, and philosophy, you'll be inspired to challenge yourself more and more...all because you feel confident and safe doing so!
Level 2 classes are appropriate for anyone who has taken yoga for 1 year or more and will be fun and challenging! Because even the more advanced postures rely on a deep understanding of the fundamentals, we continually return to the basics while exploring all our edges! These classes are dynamic, fun and challenging!
